Date for your dairies; Presentation Evening Saturday 24th November ☺️🏁🏆 more details to follow!
There is a track day tomorrow from around 10.30am to start removing the armco ready for the rebuild.
If you can support this it will be much appreciated, many hands make light work.
Also hoping to do some midweek work party’s as we know it’s Bas and Map over the next 2 weekends.
Just to keep you all in the picture it has come to light to all our armco and wire rope has been incorrectly fixed to the posts.
So to correct this we are looking for…
M12 threaded bar ( 10 inch long ) with nuts, approximately 130 of them.
Square Washers that are 3 inch square by 3mm thick minimum, approximately 260.
Wire Rope minimum 9mm thick and about 1000 metres.
If anyone has any or may know of anything please contact us and let us know.
If anyone has any spare time in the evenings please contact Carl and he will arrange to meet you there or we will be there this Saturday to start to remove all the armco ready for the rebuild.
I personally would like to thank Vernon Mackenzie for all his help and advice on all this and thankfull this was spotted before we had a field full of drivers. Your help is needed ☺️
Unfortunately our bad luck continues in 2018.
After having a track inspection this evening we will not be able to race this Sunday. Yes it may only be Monday and people may think “surely we can sort it in time” but unfortunately it’s not that easy.
We will need as much help as possible to get the track up to the new standard, so a track day will be announced asap.
Many thanks for everyones cooperation at this time.
Good evening all, after an track inspection this evening, I’m afraid we have no choice but to cancel this bank holiday Monday meeting, due to the weather. The track and outfields are extremely wet 😔 but on the plus side we will be holding another meeting on Sunday 20th May, this will be a club points meeting. It hasn’t yet been confirmed whether this will be a national qualifier. This will be confirmed in due course. Now fingers and toes crossed for some sunshine ☀️ PLEASE SHARE!
I’m pleased to announce that Spalding Autograss will be attending the Holbeach Town & Country Fayre again this year ☺️ If you’d like the opportunity to show your car on the static stand, then please let Chamelle know. Spaces are limited. You get free entry to the event, which is great fun and lots to do, even a beer tent and lots of food stands 😝 The fayre is being held on Saturday 16th/Sunday 17th June. So if your interested please let Chamelle know 😄
Once again the rain has beat us!! I’m afraid our meeting this weekend will be CANCELLED 🙁 fingers and toes crossed for nice weather in the coming weeks 🤞🏼PLEASE SHARE!
